Albie Sinclair Solo Exhibition 

It's been almost a decade since Albie produced larger work, and there are quite a few. It's also his first major exhibition since his heart attack.

A Little Bit of History
It’s amazing the things we keep from our childhood. Albie is no exception with a very cool ‘Design for Safety Diploma’ for entering a road safety competition in 1956; a painting of boats (which I would happily hang in the gallery now); and a countryside painting with wildlife (Albie and I had a good laugh at that one). Some artists take themselves very seriously. Albie doesn’t, so hence including a bit of humour before you view the exhibition! More work from the exhibition will follow over the week. 

Albie Sinclair was recognised at the 138th Open Annual Exhibition by The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW) with his painting ‘Five Trees’ winning the Sir William Gillies Award.
